KYLE KLAUS
ACTOR | BUSINESS MAN
Born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania, Kyle Klaus grew up with a love for family and stability, typical of this close knit town, and at the same time with huge ambitions to do big bold moves/ less typical Pottstown, PA. With an artistic spirit since early age, Klaus grew up fascinated by various movie characters. John Conner, (Terminator), stood up the most in his childhood. Klaus would often dress up like Connor, walking around town acting like the character himself, entertaining his neighbours. But it wasn’t until his first year of college that he truly began to pursue his dream of acting. He booked a supporting role in the independent feature, Misdirected, and worked as Mark Wahlberg’s stand-in/double for a few projects that filmed in Philadelphia.
Upon graduating from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, with a major in Political Science and a minor in Electronic Media/Telecommunications, bouncing between bartending and real estate jobs, Klaus made the move to NYC in 2008 to pursue acting on a professional level. Enrolling into acting classes at HB Studio and NY Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, Klaus is proud to have trained with incredible acting coaches like Lynette Sheldon, Austin Pendleton, Sheila Gray, Alice Spivak, Bob Krakower and Matt Newton.
His film credits include, Misdirected, Murder Below the Line, Victim’s Song, Reunion 88, and Turnabout. His television credits include, The Blacklist, The Last O.G., Happy, Homeland, Billions, Silicon Valley, Damage Control and One Life to Live.
In addition to acting, Klaus has found great success in real estate and other businesses. He’s currently starting up his own production company, where he hopes to soon turn some scripts into productions.
Always on the go, Klaus is passionate about playing guitar, golf, surfing, spending time with his family and giving back. He recently started a YouTube channel as a way to give back his expertise in multiple areas. For the last five years, he has been donating half of his profits from acting to St. Jude/s and other non-profit organizations.
